Top CASE for CTC 24 - Easter

Welcome back to CASE-ing the Catty Challenges.  Today's post is bittersweet as we say goodbye to the CHALLENGES and start our first FRIDAY BLOG HOP tonight.

The team at CTC are Stampin' Up! ® Demonstrators who love to use the SU catalogues for inspiration.  We know that many other demos and lovers of SU products do too.  Unfortunately, it takes a lot of time to run a challenge blog and entry numbers have been low.  The DT have really enjoyed sharing their ideas by CASE-ing (Copy and Share Everything) a sketch or a colour combo, an embellishment etc. so we will continue to do so, but just in a slightly different format.

A huge thank you to everyone that joined in with our challenges over the last 11 months.  We have chosen four lovely and talented ladies who have been our 'regulars' at CTC, to join us as Guest Designers until the end of May.  Come back tonight to find out more and how you can join in the blog hops too.

Without further ado, here are the winners of CTC 24, our Easter themed challenge inspired by pages 34 and 35 of the Occasions Catty!

Our LAST Top CASE goes to -

Isn't this cute and colourful Easter card just adorable?  Congratulations, Amanda, you have won this very special CTC badge for your blog -

The votes were extremely close this week and our Honourable Mention goes to -

Julia Quinn

The DT loved Julia's quick and easy card with the vibrant floral DSP in the background.  Congratulations, Julia, here's a badge for your blog -

Be sure to come back at 7pm (AEST) for the start of our first blog hop.

CTC #24 - Let's Celebrate Easter

Hi there and welcome back to CASE-ing the Catty Challenges

As it's only one week until Good Friday we are looking at the Easter section of the Occasions Catalogue (page 34 and 35) for our challenge inspiration this week.

  • You can directly CASE a project (Copy and Share Everything) or use a sketch/layout, colour combo, embellishment, just to name a few examples, as a springboard for your own creations.
  • Or simply use some new Stampin' Up! Easter supplies from the Occasions Catalogue.

CTC 24 will run for two weeks over the holiday period and the linky will be open until Thursday 9th April. We really hope you can join us in the gallery and showcase your Easter projects.

Here's what the Design Team made to inspire you to play along with our latest challenge-

Top CASE for CTC 23

Hi there.  We're back to celebrate our Top CASE for CTC 23.  The challenge involved using a combination of products from the SAB and Occasions Catalogues.

Congratulations to Kelly Davies -

Kelly used the new Alphanumeric Mold from the Occasions Catty and a sentiment from the SAB stamp set, A Happy Thing. The DT loved her wash of blue watercolour for the background.

Congratulations! Here's a badge just for you -

Be sure to join us for our next challenge at 7pm (AEST).

CASE-ing the Catty Challenge #23 - It's an Occasion to SALE-A-BRATE

We have a fun challenge this week and it will be the last one for the 2015 SAB Catty. At the end of March we will say a fond farewell to all the SALE-A-BRATION freebies and enjoy only two more months of the Occasions Catalogue, before a brand new annual catalogue is released in June.

We are also saying a fond farewell to a couple of our DT members, Hayley Kew and Sharnee Torrents. Life gets a bit busy at times and seasons in our life come and go.  Thanks so much ladies for your amazing contributions over the last few months.  On a brighter note, CTC are hosting some Guest Designers over the next few weeks and tonight we are welcoming Julia Quinn for our 23rd challenge!

So on with this week's challenge - Use a combination of SALE-A-BRATION and Occasions stamps and accessories on your project.

Here's what the Design Team came up with to inspire you to play along -

Top CASE for CTC 21

It's that time of the week where we thank those lovely entrants for joining in with our Occasions Inspiration 'Everyday' Challenge and to showcase the winner.  The Everyday chapter of the 'mini' is certainly my favourite section of the catalogue and is jam packed with amazing ideas.

This week our Top CASE goes to -

Can you spot the beautiful card on page 20 of the catty that inspired Julie to make this little beauty?  The DT loved her take on the card and the lovely new goodies that she used to create such an 'arty' project.  Thanks so much for joining in.

Congratulations, Julia, here's a badge for your blog -

We'll be back again tonight at 7:00pm (AEST) for our next challenge.

CASE-ing the Catty Challenge #18 - Inspiration from the Birthday Section of the Occasions Catalogue

Welcome back to CASE-ing the CattyToday the challenge is all about CASE-ing from the Birthday section of the Occasions Catalogue.  You can download the PDF on our side bar and check out pages 10 - 17 for some great inspiration.
CASE stands for Copy and Share Everything.  This whole challenge blog is about using the current Stampin' Up! Catalogues to help you create.  Sometimes crafters need a springboard to just get started and the catties are certainly a demonstrator or customer's best resource.

Exciting News!  We are on the look out for some Guest Designers so be sure to join in on the challenges to be considered for a spot.
So check out the Birthday section of the Occasions Catty and find a project that you would like to CASE.  Have FUN!
